A Legacy of Light and Fire: The Story of Murano Heritage

A dream passed down from generation to generation
It all began over a century ago with a spark of wonder. In the early 1900s, my grandfather—a native Venetian and one of the most skilled firemakers of his era—discovered the enchanting world of Murano glass. He was captivated not by the gondolas or the grand palaces, but by the way the glass glowed in the light, vibrant with color and soul. He spent countless days on the island, learning from master artisans who molded fire into beauty, and from that moment on, his life took a new direction. With a heart full of inspiration, he opened a small workshop on Murano, driven by passion and the belief that this extraordinary craft could thrive beyond the Venetian waters. What began as a modest atelier grew, generation after generation, into something much greater. Today, Murano Heritage is the largest Murano glass workshop in the world, yet we remain anchored to the values he cherished: craftsmanship, patience, and a love for art. Now in our third generation, we still create every piece by hand—with the same wonder, care, and devotion that first ignited my grandfather’s heart. Every curve of glass tells a story. Every color sings of heritage. And every piece links the past to the present. This is our legacy. This is Murano Heritage.
